French musician, songwriter, composer and performer who made his name as a drummer. He has accompanied a number of famous singers, among them Jean-Jacques Goldman, Michel Jonasz and Jeanne Mas. His career took off when he recorded titles for “SO” by Peter Gabriel. Manu Katché has been back on stage since 2004 with his own electro-jazz compositions. His latest album, which came out a few months ago, has proved a marked success.
On October 8, 2005, Manu Katché will perform in the United against Malaria concert, Youssou N'Dour & Friends, at the Arena, Geneva.
